This torch has a nice feel and all around appeal for me. However it is very picky on the quality of furl used. The normal 4x 5x butane sold at your local mart won’t cut it as it’ll leave you with a torch that either spits and sputters or has to be on full blast (which can shoot foames over a foot in height!) Ive also noticed if you want to adjust it to a low flame you better make sure its been cleaned purged wiped and warmed up otherwise it won’t give you more than a spit fire experience.

I got about a year’s worth of use out of it… I’ve learned to lower my expectations where torches are concerned. When it works, it’s a fine torch. When it doesn’t… you’ll be pissed and order another, as I’m doing now.

This torch is well constructed, has a nice weight and shape, and is very comfortable to hold and operate. The only issue with the one I had was the intensity of the flame. I’ve only ever used high performance butane with this product, so it wasn’t due to cheaper butane, and my torches are probably the only things I actually diligently care for… however, even with the valve barely open, the possibility of losing an eyebrow or incinerating one of your curtains was very likely. It did make a great cleaning torch due to the intensity until it just died when a portion of it melted under its own hellish inferno. Otherwise, this would be an ideal torch given more control of the intensity.
