It works well but be sure to look it over for air pockets or bubbles. With that being said if you apply to much heat or just heat in general it runs the risk of breaking.

Luckily mine was solid. Thick enough glass but the opening is a little off angle. Doesn’t affect usability though. Keep the torch far from the surface though for sure
