This is a splurge, admittedly. But if you’re reading this review and pondering, you know you’re tempted. This oil burner is the absolute best gift you can give yourself. This piece is every bit as big as it looks in the photos, but its surprisingly easy to handle. The u-shaped section at the bottom fits comfortably in my hand. It easily stores upright in any heavy container–I use an empty beer stein—and it won’t tip over. You get a good view of where to apply heat, avoiding over- or under-heating. Keep in mind, however, that you need to load a good quantity in order to use it to its fullest. All in all it works amazingly well.
