This is one the nicest and one of the sturdiest oil burners you can purchase. I would give 5 but for me I don’t use it enough to actually know the longevity of the pipe. The glass is very strong I dropped it twice already and it took it like a champ. Overall it’s a good quality product.

It takes a torch it is so thick. You would think it would be hard to break, but it lasted less than a month at my house….

I recently bought 2 more of these – yes, they’re that good. But I was a little bummed that the bottom isn’t flat anymore. (i’m pretty sure that’s the first time I’ve ever said that.) It was such a great idea, preventing the pipe from rolling. Other than that, though, it functions great.
It’s a good design, with the brilliant flat bottom and tapered stem. However, I’d advise NOT using a cooling cloth with this one. The bottom glass is simply too fragile. I’ve now gone through 5 of these, each one cracking the same way (cooling cloth) in the same spot. Obviously, I modified how cool the cloth was, how long I waited before attempting to use the cloth… not one of the burners lasted beyond 3 months. So I’m taking away one star and updating with the cooling cloth caveat. If you want a fun burner that’s surely temporary, try this one. Keep in mind that while most of it is seemingly durable, the bottom is not.

This little oil burner packs the BIGGEST wallop! Who’d have guessed!? In the photo, it looks ordinary; in your hands, it’s anything but. The flat bottom prevents rolling; the glass is thick & sturdy. The price is beyond reasonable. I highly recommend this little treasure.

I had this baby forever it seemed but finally dropped it just right n broke off the bubble.good pipe different.ya hadda heat it up fast I found wth a torch but then just keep er tilting back n forth.could get 3 good hits without touching a flame to er again. Lasted long time. Just different to use.
